Omega - elegant design and the ultimate art of watch-making
When Louis Brandt from Biel in Switzerland developed a watch mechanism in 1894, he believed that the last word had been spoken in precision and accuracy and named the watch after the last letter of the Greek alphabet -Omega. What once was the name of one watch movement, soon started an incomparable victory tour around the world and became the epitome for Swiss precision watches.
It was no simple coincidence that Neil Armstrong wore an Omega Speedmaster when he took his first steps on the moon!
